They are seeking a Legal Intake & Business Development Specialist to provide an exceptional first experience for prospective clients and assist in strengthening the firm's intake and business development systems.ResponsibilitiesPrepare for and conduct prospective client discovery callsClearly and confidently educate prospective clients on the legal process and the firm’s processIdentify prospective clients’ goals and legal needs, then help guide them toward the appropriate services and next stepsSend representation agreements, payment links, and diligent follow-upTrack all leads, notes, tags, lead sources, and next steps in the CRMHelp reactivate prior leads, former clients, and referral opportunitiesConduct client check-ins after matters close and at future relationship-building touchpointsSupport referral outreach, client gifting, testimonials, and client retention initiativesWork with the attorney and marketing team on outreach campaigns, events, speaking opportunities, and business development effortsHelp create, document, and improve intake, sales, CRM, and client relationship systemsSkillsStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly, professionally, and in plain EnglishComfortable speaking with prospective clients, asking thoughtful questions, identifying needs, and guiding them toward the appropriate next stepConfident discussing legal services, pricing, value, and process in a way that is consultative, strategic, and client-centeredOrganized, detail-oriented, and highly consistent with follow-up, especially when managing multiple leads, conversations, and next steps at the same timeComfortable using CRMs, checklists, templates, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to keep information accurate, current, and actionableCommitted to following established processes, while also able to identify gaps, suggest improvements, and help make systems stronger over timeProactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented, with the judgment to move things forward without waiting to be told every next stepAble to work independently in a remote environment while staying responsive, accountable, and connected to the teamWarm, professional, emotionally intelligent, and client-focused, with the ability to build trust quickly and communicate with confidenceInterested in business development, client relationships, and firm growth, not just administrative intakeWilling and able to build a strong working foundation in trademark, intellectual property, and business lawTrademark or law firm experience is requiredLegal intake, sales, business development, client success, account management, or professional services experience is preferredBenefitsRemote work with structure, support, and clear expectations, giving you flexibility while still staying connected to the team and the firm’s goals.Starting compensation structured as salary, with the role designed to evolve into a salary-plus-bonus model based on defined goals, performance, measurable contribution, and firm growth, so your financial growth can be tied to the value you help create.Company OverviewDiAngelo Law specializes in trademark law, offering services in registration, enforcement, and litigation.
