[Remote] Technology Consultant

The Technology Consultant is responsible for generating new business opportunities through outbound sales activities, building relationships with decision-makers, and positioning SERTG as a trusted advisor for IT solutions.ResponsibilitiesGenerate net new business through outbound prospecting: cold calls, emails, networking, referrals, social outreach, and event follow-upIdentify and engage decision-makers across target industries and verticalsBuild and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunitiesEstablish trust with prospects by understanding their business challenges and goalsPosition SERTG as a trusted advisor for IT, cybersecurity, and compliance needsDevelop long-term relationships with referral partners, prospects, and community contactsConduct discovery calls and gather detailed information on prospect needsCoordinate meetings, proposals, site visits, and follow-up activitiesMaintain accurate CRM records, notes, activity logs, and opportunity stagesCollaborate with technical teams to build accurate recommendations and proposalsMeet monthly and annual revenue targetsPresent solutions confidently and negotiate agreements aligned with customer needsSupport the full sales cycle from prospecting through signed agreement and handoffSkills3+ years of B2B sales, business development, or related experienceProven ability to generate new business and build pipeline independentlyCRM experience required; ConnectWise experience is a plusSome technical aptitude required; full-cycle sales experience preferredExperience in MSP, SaaS, IT, cybersecurity, or technology sales preferredBenefitsHealth, dental, vision - 60 days401K with 4% employer match40 hours of sick leave80 hours of PTO6 company observed paid holidays$25,000 insurance policyMileage reimbursement for eligible business-related travelAccess to training platformA collaborative, supportive culture where your contributions matter.Opportunities to grow with a fast-scaling technology company.Company OverviewSoutheast Regional Technology is an IT services & security provider offering technology consulting, design, implementation, & management.
