They are seeking a BD Subject Matter Expert II who will lead staffing structures, develop content strategies, and ensure compliance in proposal efforts. The role involves collaboration with capture managers and proposal teams to produce competitive technical solutions.ResponsibilitiesLeading staffing structures and management approaches, ensuring alignment with proposal strategiesDeveloping content strategy in collaboration with capture managers while incorporating feedback from proposal managersReviewing and refining subcontractor contributions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company standardsDrafting and contributing to win strategy documentation, including pricing strategies, competitive assessments, and value propositionsPerforming Peer Reviews on other proposal writers as assignedCoordinating and leading review sessions (Pink, Red, Gold) for assigned sections or proposalsParticipating in proposal management reviews to ensure the development of accurate and compelling technical, management, and past performance submissionsSkillsExcellent verbal and written communication, editing/proofreading, research, and analytical skillsStrong organizational ability to manage multiple work assignments with competing deadlines while producing high-quality deliverables under pressureComprehensive understanding of federal acquisition process, FAR/DFARS regulations, and the RFP lifecycle (including RFP sections and appendices)Familiarity with government customers, including DoD, DoS, USAID, and international organizations, along with related markets, regulations, and culturesStrong interpersonal skills, including tact, diplomacy, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, technical SMEs, and leadershipAdvanced computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint), Adobe Acrobat, and related toolsAbility to synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and compelling narrativesBasic knowledge of pricing strategies and evaluation criteria (especially relevant at SME II and III levels)Bachelor's degree in business, economics, writing, or related field preferred.
