[Remote] Strategic Marketing Manager

They are seeking a Strategic Marketing Manager to drive strategic sales growth initiatives across their Components, Tooling, and Aerospace & Defense business segments, while supporting sales enablement and improving market positioning.ResponsibilitiesSupport strategic growth initiatives across AFC’s Components, Tooling, and Aerospace & Defense segmentsPartner with business unit leaders and sales leadership to identify growth opportunities, target markets, and commercial prioritiesAssist in developing vertical market campaigns and customer-focused growth programsHelp identify cross-selling opportunities across AFC business units and acquired companiesSupport commercialization efforts related to acquisitions, new capabilities, and strategic initiativesDevelop and maintain sales presentations, customer-facing materials, case studies, and strategic account toolsSupport Strategic Business Reviews (SBRs) and major customer presentationsBuild segment-specific messaging and sales tools aligned to customer pain points and operational valueImprove consistency and accessibility of commercial materials across the organizationCoordinate support for trade shows, customer visits, and commercial meetingsConduct market, customer, and competitive research to support growth initiativesMonitor industry trends and identify opportunities within key manufacturing verticalsHelp translate CRM and marketing data into actionable commercial insightsSupport account targeting and whitespace identification effortsWork closely with sales, marketing, operations, and executive leadership teamsHelp align messaging, commercial priorities, and growth initiatives across business unitsCoordinate execution of strategic commercial programs from concept through launchAssist with internal communication initiatives tied to commercial strategy and growthSkills4–8 years of experience in commercial marketing, business development, sales enablement, or related commercial rolesExperience within industrial distribution, manufacturing, tooling, fasteners, aerospace, or technical B2B industries strongly preferredExperience supporting sales organizations and customer-facing commercial initiativesFamiliarity with CRM and marketing platforms such as HubSpot, or similar systemsStrong commercial and business acumenExcellent communication and organizational skillsComfortable collaborating with sales leaders and operational teamsAbility to simplify complex topics into customer-focused messagingSelf-starter capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneouslyStrong presentation and project coordination skillsAnalytical mindset with the ability to identify commercial opportunities from data and trendsBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceCompany OverviewAFC Industries is a distributor of inventory management solutions for OEMs, utilities, distributors, and C-Class component users.
