[Remote] Stormwater/Water Resources Project Manager

They are seeking a talented Project Manager with Stormwater Infrastructure and Water Resources experience to provide technical leadership and project management for various municipal and private projects.ResponsibilitiesWork as a stormwater and water resources subject matter expert and be responsible for technical project delivery and design, scheduling, budgeting, and client managementSupervise and direct individuals or teams of technical staff on complex projects and/or multiple smaller projectsAssist in the training and technical development of staff by various means including holding training seminars, providing technical guidance during project execution, and bringing new technical developments in-houseAssist with strategic planning, training, proposals, and business developmentConsult with other technical staff and Project Managers on technical challenges in the stormwater and water resources discipline while also providing independent technical reviews on stormwater and water resources components of projects for other disciplinesOversee the technical accuracy of project through regular communications with project staff, review of plans, specifications, reports, and calculations to ensure compliance with the firm's standardsRecognize the potential risks of nonstandard technical matters or potential legal disputes by participating in required project risk and insurance training to minimize the firm's liabilityPresent project updates and technical information to the client and at public meetings to review and discuss project detailsSkillsBachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline8+ years of related experience in stormwater and water resources, including design and project managementRegistered Professional Engineer in the State of Massachusetts, or the ability to obtain same by reciprocityDemonstrated ability to work effectively with clients, staff, subconsultants and contractors through effective leadership, and demonstrated written and verbal communication skillsStrong understanding of state and federal regulatory framework and experience interacting with regulators in the local and technical areas where Apex does workHave excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong desire to manage and mentor junior staffValid driver's license and clean driving recordBenefitsCompany-subsidized medical and dentalCompany-paid life, short, and long-term disability401k match, tuition assistance, and moreCross-training and the ability to work on a variety of projectsPerformance-based bonuses or other incentivesWorking with the best and brightest in the industry2,000+ employee national firm with 70+ locations across the USCompany OverviewApex is a national water resources and environmental services firm that provides single-source solutions for routine and complex projects.
