They are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to develop strategies for new member acquisition, blending data, creativity, and market awareness to drive sustainable growth and engagement.ResponsibilitiesShape Growth & Acquisition Strategy: You’ll design integrated customer acquisition strategies that align with growth, revenue, engagement, and profitability goals across products and channelsDrive Channel & Audience Strategy: You’ll define channel strategies and recommend target audiences, channel mix, and investment levels to maximize reach and effectiveness across digital and traditional platformsTurn Insights into Actionable Plans: You’ll translate business goals into clear marketing plans, forecasts, and performance targets that guide execution and successForecasting & Performance Planning: You’ll lead forecasting efforts, membership planning, and projections—ensuring strategies are grounded in data and aligned with enterprise goalsDesign Offer & Campaign Strategies: You’ll build and refine offer strategies and go-to-market approaches that resonate with member needs and drive measurable outcomesOptimize Marketing Performance: You’ll analyze ROI, CAC, and channel performance to continuously improve effectiveness, making data-driven adjustments and balancing key tradeoffsEvaluate Market & Competitive Landscape: You’ll conduct competitive analysis and assess market trends, customer demand, and emerging opportunities to inform strategyCollaborate Across Teams: You’ll partner with Product, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, and Operations to ensure strategies are integrated, scalable, and aligned to business objectivesManage Budgets & Financial Performance: You’ll oversee marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation, accurate tracking, and alignment with strategic prioritiesInfluence with Insights: You’ll deliver clear, compelling reporting and executive-level presentations that guide leadership decisions and shape business directionLead & Mentor Others: You’ll foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration by mentoring team members and strengthening cross-functional partnershipsSkillsMinimum requires a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Communications, or equivalent education-related experienceMinimum 6+ years of experience in customer acquisition, strategy, marketing planning, analytics, or consulting rolesAdvanced degree in Marketing or Business Administration preferredExcellent business acumen with the ability to research and provide innovative business and competitive analytics, positioning, and strategies toward fulfilling marketing opportunitiesAcquisition marketing experience and demonstrated ability to develop and execute acquisition strategies that support growth, revenue, and profitability objectivesExcellent written and presentation skills, including presentation development and deliveryDemonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional collaboration, relationship building, influence, and negotiationAnalytical skills with experience evaluating market opportunities, customer segments, and channel performanceBackground in consumer financial services (e.g., banking, lending, credit cards, insurance, fintech, or wealth)Excellent project management skills with a strong service focus and ability to manage multiple projects and deliverablesBenefits401(k) Company Match (up to 3%)4% annual contribution to your 401(k) by BECUMedical, Dental and Vision (family contributions as well)PTO Program + Exchange ProgramTuition Reimbursement ProgramBECU Cares volunteer time off + donation matchCompany OverviewAs a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, BECU is guided by the credit union philosophy of “people helping people.” In fact, putting people over profit guides our everyday business decisions.
