The Sr. Fraud Data Analyst will provide investigative and analytical support, utilizing LexisNexis products to identify and mitigate fraud risks within the Social Services domain.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement methodologies to gather, analyze, and continuously assess risk using customer data and LexisNexis public records, supporting government entities in identifying and mitigating fraud risk within the Social Services domainAnalyze online transactional data to validate expected performance, identify trends and anomalies, and generate actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders, including detection of suspicious or potentially fraudulent behaviorEvaluate large-scale batch datasets to support quality control (QC) processes, identify patterns and trends, and surface actionable leads to ensure optimal solution performanceLeverage OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) techniques to conduct investigative research and support customer-driven fraud investigationsDevelop and maintain scalable analytical scripts (e.g., SQL, Python, R) to automate data extraction, transformation, and advanced analysisPartner with Sales and Solution teams to provide pre- and post-sale support, including solution design, product education, implementation guidance, and best practicesManage and strengthen customer relationships through ongoing analysis and insights delivered throughout the lifecycle of engagementsDevelop and contribute to customer-facing presentations, translating complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narrativesResearch and recommend alternative approaches to help customers achieve cost-effective and optimized solutionsInvestigate and resolve data quality and QC issues, ensuring accuracy and reliability of outputsIdentify and drive process improvement opportunities to enhance analytical efficiency, scalability, and qualityLead or contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in Intelligence, Criminal Justice, Fraud Analysis, Data Analytics, or a related field5+ years of professional experience in data analysis, fraud investigation, or intelligence analysis; prior experience supporting government clients preferredProficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, including Excel, Power BI, and PowerPointExperience with programming and querying languages, such as SQL (e.g., MySQL), Python, or RStrong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to apply structured logic to complex problemsDemonstrated research and investigative skills, including the ability to synthesize information and resolve ambiguous issuesExperience working with large-scale datasets and customer-facing analytic solutionsStrong organizational, prioritization, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams effectivelyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholdersSelf-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentExperience with OSINT techniques and toolsFamiliarity with LexisNexis solutions or similar data platformsWillingness to travel up to 25%BenefitsThis job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.We know your well-being and happiness are key to a long and successful career.
