They are seeking multiple Site Reliability Engineers and Senior Site Reliability Engineers to architect and maintain secure networking infrastructure, drive deployment of network components, and build automation for user onboarding and system monitoring.ResponsibilitiesArchitect and maintain secure networking infrastructure, including VPCs, firewalls, and Interconnects, following zero-trust principlesDrive the deployment and lifecycle of all network components using Terraform and GitOps workflows to ensure consistency and audit abilityImplement Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP), Workload Identity, and VPC Service Controls to ensure a compliant, secure environmentUse Python or Go to build logic-heavy automation for user onboarding, repository management, and system monitoringManage and harden self-hosted GitLab infrastructure using IaC, ensuring high availability and robust disaster recoveryHardened foundational components against threats and integrate "Compliance-as-Code" to support Authority to Operate (ATO) requirementsEngage in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Merge Requests (MRs), code reviews, and automated infrastructure testingSkillsEligible to obtain or hold an active U.S. Security ClearanceMust have an active CAC at a minimumBachelors degree or equivalent years of experienceDeep, hands-on experience specifically within Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web ServicesProven experience writing, testing, and managing modular Terraform at scaleAbility to manage complex infrastructure solely through CLI and Terraform (no console access)Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system architecture to predict and prevent system failuresBeyond basic scripting, you must be comfortable in a high-level language like Python or GoGoogle Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, or HashiCorp Certified: Terraform AssociateSecurity+ CertificationCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similarExperience with Kubernetes and container hardeningFamiliarity with the DoD RMF framework or building systems within an ATO (Authority to Operate) boundaryAbility to handle high-privilege access (Owner/Editor) while establishing administrative guardrails for the broader teamCompany OverviewMile Two specializes in data visualization, software engineering, human-computer interaction, web apps, mobile apps & cloud-based services.
