This full-time contract opportunity will support students in classroom and instructional settings while collaborating with educational staff to promote communication accessibility and student success. Qualified interpreters seeking a long-term school-based assignment are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities:
Provide sign language interpretation services for students in academic settings Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff Support classroom instruction and school-related activities Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in accordance with district policies Attend meetings and collaborate with special education teams as needed Qualifications:
Active Michigan Department of Education certification required Minimum EIPA score of 4.0 required Knowledge of ASL and educational interpreting standards required Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to work effectively with students and school personnel Excellent attention to detail and professionalism Experience:
