They are seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage client relationships and drive revenue for their fertilizer products within a dedicated sales territory.ResponsibilitiesOwn a portfolio of accounts and act as the point of contact for all fertilizer sales within the territoryBuild strong, long-term relationships with each account’s key decision makersBe responsible for the development and execution of sales strategies that are in sync with the broader commercial team objectivesNegotiate pricing and delivery teams that fit within the commercial team’s guidanceWork with product management, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled as requiredSeek out new potential customers that are accretive to the portfolioCreate and monitor accurate forecasts for sales territoryProvide superior customer support by resolving conflicts, providing solutions, and handling customer’s needs in a timely mannerStay current on market fundamentals and provide market related information to key internal stakeholdersMaintain customer information, contacts, communications, forecasts, leads/opportunities and sales activities in SalesforceSkills5-7+ years of experience in commodity sales, account management, or tradingAn understanding of farming, agronomy, and nitrogen fertilizer markets in North AmericaBe a proven self-starter with a track record of initiative and the ability to work both independently and within a team dynamicExcellent communication, relationship building, and negotiation skillsProven track record of effective time-management skillsProven business acumen with a problem-solving mindsetHighly developed customer relationship skills with a proven ability to grow and sustain strong relationshipsExperience operating in office related software (MS Excel in particular)20-25% Travel RequiredBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or an Agricultural relevant fieldCompany OverviewLSB Industries, Inc., headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is committed to playing a leadership role in the production of low and no carbon products that build, feed and power the world.
