[Remote] Senior Nonprofit Accountant

They are seeking a Senior Nonprofit Accountant to provide hands-on support across payroll accounting, grant and labor allocations, month-end close, reconciliations, and audit preparation.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and record biweekly payroll allocation entries and related journal entriesSupport labor and grant allocations across multiple programs and funding sourcesCompile and reconcile timesheet data for payroll processing partnersPrepare bank, investment, and balance sheet account reconciliationsInvestigate reconciling items and prepare correcting entries as neededSupport month-end close activities, including accruals and recurring journal entriesAssist with audit preparation, schedules, and supporting documentationPrepare and import journal entries into NetSuiteSupport intercompany accounting and account analysisMaintain thorough documentation to ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirementsSkills5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant nonprofit accounting exposureStrong experience with grant accounting, cost allocations, or labor distributionsExperience supporting month-end close and financial reportingProficiency with NetSuite and advanced Excel skills requiredExperience supporting audits and preparing audit schedulesAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentPrior experience with payroll accounting and allocations preferredLarge nonprofit, higher education, healthcare, or foundation experienceExposure to restricted funds, grant reporting, or fund accountingExperience with multi-entity or intercompany accounting environmentsCompany OverviewHere at Taylor Hodson Staffing, we are proud to be in our third decade of service!
