This role involves leading the revenue accounting function, ensuring compliance with ASC 606, and driving automation and scalable processes across the organization.ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end revenue accounting, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 across all service lines and locationsOversee provider commission calculations and accounting for labor costs, ensuring accuracy and timelinessImplement and maintain best practices in Order-to-Cash to reconcile purchases to cash receipts across payment processors and POS systemsBuild new processes and controls for cash handling within the Order-to-Cash cycle, ensuring completeness and accuracy from point of sale through bank settlementDevelop and enforce revenue recognition policies, internal controls, and documentation standardsMonitor and reconcile payment processor transactions, chargebacks, and settlement activityLead accounting integration efforts for newly acquired practices, standing up revenue accounting processes and controls from close through stabilizationAssist with deal diligence by evaluating revenue recognition practices, commission structures, and cash handling procedures of target acquisitionsPartner on ERP/CRM implementations and system migrations, ensuring accounting and compliance requirements are built into system design from the outsetChampion automation across the revenue accounting function—identifying and implementing technology solutions to eliminate manual processes and improve accuracyContinuously improve reconciliation workflows, reporting cadences, and close processes to build for scaleWork with large data sets to develop automated reporting and analytics that drive operational visibilityServe as the lead contact for external auditors on revenue-related matters, managing walkthroughs, testing support, and timely resolution of issuesDesign and maintain internal controls over revenue recognition, cash handling, and provider compensationPartner with FP&A and senior leadership to deliver accurate revenue reporting and actionable insightsLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvementSet clear goals and performance standards, building bench strength and operational resilience as the organization scalesReport to and partner with the VP of Finance and Accounting to build a best-in-class finance organizationSkillsActive CPA license required8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with deep expertise in revenue accountingStrong command of ASC 606 revenue recognition standardsExperience working with 4-wall businesses (retail, healthcare, hospitality, or multi-site service environments)Demonstrated experience with payment processors, POS systems, and order-to-cash reconciliationProven track record serving as the lead contact for external auditors, including walkthroughs, testing, and resolution of audit issuesExperience partnering on ERP/CRM implementations and ensuring accounting and compliance requirements are embedded in system designAdvanced Excel skills required; comfortable working with large data sets and building automated reporting toolsAble to lead teams and manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentStrong communication skills with the ability to produce polished, executive-facing materials and partner across functionsMaster of Accounting or equivalent advanced degreePrevious healthcare accounting experience, particularly in multi-site or practice-based settingsExperience in private-equity-backed environments with exposure to acquisition-driven growthBackground in designing and implementing automation solutions within accounting functionsSQL or BI tool experience a plusBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off and Holidays401(k) with Profit SharingCompany Paid Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee DiscountsProfessional Development AssistanceCompany OverviewAesthetic Partners is a clinical aesthetics practice management firm focused on high-end, physician-led, and patient-centric practices.
