Claims Assistant II

Intact Financial Corporation is seeking a Claims Assistant II to join their Litigation Management Department. In this role, you will assist with the management of legal invoices, support claims handlers and external legal firms, and collaborate with the Litigation Management team on special projects. Responsibilities Assist our department, claims handlers and external legal firms with questions or assistance they may need in relation to legal accounts, our billing platform or any of the objectives of the Litigation Management Department Requisitioning funds to ensure accurate and timely payments in compliance with Intact’s service level expectations Work in collaboration with members of the Litigation Management team, assisting with the management of our litigation billing portal Support the Managers and Director of the Litigation Management Department with special projects and assignments, as needed Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Positive attitude while adapting to changing priorities and taking ownership of work Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with our various partners Highly resourceful, able to work independently, create solutions and use good judgment Comfort using desktop software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint is a plus) and email (Outlook) A College Diploma or University Degree, or equivalent experience Benefits Flexible work arrangements and a hybrid work model Possibility to purchase up to 5 extra days off per year Multiple benefits offered to support physical and mental wellbeing, including telemedicine, Wellness account and much more Share plan & other savings: up to 12% of salary or even more (ask how you could earn guaranteed income for life) Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance): 5% Our pension offerings provide flexibility and long-term security for our employees beyond their careers.
