This hands-on leadership role focuses on overseeing digital performance, managing campaign operations, and developing a high-performing team to ensure client success and operational excellence.ResponsibilitiesOversee digital performance across all active client accountsReport up to executive management on overall performance of accountsEnsure client KPIs, campaign goals, and performance metrics are consistently monitored and communicatedDevelop and maintain a proactive reporting cadence for both internal stakeholders and clientsSurface opportunities, trends, and risks before they become problemsManage digital budget pacing, allocation, and performance monitoring across client portfoliosCreate regular digital landscape updates covering platform changes, industry trends, algorithm updates, AI developments, and emerging opportunitiesSupport team who owns data accuracy and integrity across all marketing platforms and reporting systemsManage team who build, document, and improve scalable operating procedures for digital execution and reportingManage team who oversee CRM integrations, marketing automation platforms, tracking systems, attribution tools, and analytics infrastructureLead implementations that automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency based on strategic goals and plans from executive teamManage the team and lead the implementation, and manage new marketing technologies that improve performance or team productivityEnsure tracking, attribution, reporting, and lead flow systems are functioning properly across all client programsLead, mentor, and develop digital marketing, paid media, lead generation, and marketing technology team membersProvide hands-on coaching and training on platforms, best practices, workflows, and performance improvementManage the organizational accountability and operational discipline across the teamIdentify staffing, skill, and capacity gaps and proactively recommend solutionsFoster a culture of continuous learning, documentation, and process adherenceBuild systems that improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability across client programsEnsure teams follow established workflows, briefs, SOPs, and quality assurance processesContinuously evaluate agency operations to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvementDevelop documentation that is practical, useful, and consistently adopted by the teamCreate repeatable frameworks that improve execution quality and client outcomesSkills15+ years of experience in digital marketing, paid media, marketing technology, or related disciplines5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and reporting up to the leadership/executive teamStrong agency experience managing multiple clients simultaneouslyProven success overseeing digital advertising, lead generation, marketing automation, and reporting operationsExperience building, managing and scaling operational processes within a fast-paced environmentAdvanced knowledge of Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and digital advertising platformsData background to understand data lake and data warehouseDeep understanding of marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, or SalesforceStrong knowledge of analytics, attribution, conversion tracking, GA4, Tag Manager, CRM integrations, and reporting systemsExperience with workflow automation and process improvement initiativesFamiliarity with AI tools and emerging technologies that improve marketing performance and operational efficiencyExcellent project management, communication, and organizational skillsStrong player-coach mentalityProcess-minded and operationally disciplinedAnalytical and data-drivenComfortable making decisions and solving problems independentlyNaturally curious and committed to continuous improvementStrong communicator who builds trust across clients and internal teamsPassionate about helping others grow and succeedBenefitsCompetitive salaryRemote positionHealth insurance401(k)Full-time positionCompany OverviewWheelhouse 20/20 is a marketing company that develops bespoke advertising, sales, and marketing programs for companies.
