[Remote] Senior Director, Global Finance

They are seeking a hands-on, globally minded finance leader to help launch, operationalize, and scale finance operations across new and existing international markets. This role involves leading finance efforts for new market entries and ensuring compliance and efficiency in finance operations globally.ResponsibilitiesLead the finance workstream for entry into new countries and jurisdictions, from initial planning through operational go-liveServe as the U.S.-based interim finance lead for new markets after legal entity incorporation and before a local finance lead or local service provider model is fully operational (short-term)Develop, maintain, and continuously improve RevMed’s global finance launch playbook, including workplans, timelines, dependencies, RACI matrices, control points, templates, escalation paths, and lessons learnedLead the transition from interim U.S.-based finance support to the appropriate steady-state local, regional, or outsourced operating modelAct with a global mindset by helping RevMed define, document, and govern its finance and accounting processes across international marketsAssist in defining the steady-state finance operating model for each marketLead handoff to a local finance lead or approved third-party service providerOwn and maintain a global inventory of core finance and accounting processes and policiesClearly define which processes/policies are global, regional, local, or outsourced, including ownership, decision rights, control expectations, and escalation pathsAssist in designing and running the monthly business review process, including the financial reporting package, meeting cadence, agenda, pre-read materials, key metrics, variance analysis, action items, and follow-upOrganize quarterly business certifications or sub-certificationsMaintain regular communication with global business partners to identify new significant transactions, unusual contracts, changes in business activity, local regulatory developments, and areas where accounting or finance support may be neededOwn the finance launch and interim operating strategy for a rolling portfolio of newly launched international entities, including operating model design, process architecture, control expectations, and cross-functional stakeholder alignmentContinuously evolve scalable frameworks, playbooks, and transition criteria that ensure each new market is launched with compliant, efficient, and sustainable finance operations until the appropriate permanent local, regional, or outsourced finance structure is establishedPartner with Technical Accounting, Corporate Accounting, SECSkills12+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance operations, controllership, international accounting, or related finance leadership roles with demonstrated ownership of complex global or multi-entity finance processesCPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualificationExperience in a public company with SOX-controlled environmentA strong business partner who can identify risks and opportunities by staying close to local teams.
