Vytwo Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior SFCC Backend Engineer to design, implement, and maintain backend functionalities for Salesforce Commerce Cloud. The role involves optimizing performance, ensuring security compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.ResponsibilitiesBackend Development: Design, implement, and maintain SFCC backend functionalities, including business logic and customizationsSFRA Implementation: Extend and optimize SFCC Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) for backend servicesAPI & Integration Management: Develop and maintain integrations with third-party services, including payment gateways, OMS etcPerformance Optimization: Improve SFCC backend performance through caching strategies and best coding practicesSecurity & Compliance: Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance with industry standardsCode Reviews & Best Practices: Enforce high coding standards, review code quality, and mentor developersTroubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and resolve backend performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and technical bottlenecksCollaboration: Work with frontend developers, designers, and product/project managers to deliver scalable and maintainable solutionsStay Updated: Keep up with SFCC advancements, best practices, and emerging backend technologiesSkills8+ years of experience in backend development, with at least 2 years in SFCC developmentStrong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and SFCC server-side developmentExperience with SFCC Business Manager, Jobs, Pipelines, and ControllersExpertise in Commerce API, OCAPI, and third-party integrationsFamiliarity with microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutionsExperience working with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc.)Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teamsExcellent problem-solving and leadership skillsCompany OverviewVytwo Technologies is a globally recognized enterprise applications integrator.
