ABA Therapist/RBT (Mon-Fri: 3:00-6:00) 5 y/o BOY
About the position
BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking Paraprofessionals to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes during afternoon and evening hours. As an RBT/BT, you will provide 1-on-1 support to children with autism or developmental delays, helping them build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA. You will work consistently with the same children in their everyday environments, helping them make real progress. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your patience, energy, and creativity can make a lasting difference. The company provides training and support to meet each child's unique needs.
Responsibilities
• Work one-on-one with kids in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques
• Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA)
• Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet
• Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective
• Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together
Requirements
• Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism.)
• Afternoon/evening availability
• Reliable transportation
Nice-to-haves
• ABA experience a plus!
• Weekends a plus
