[Remote] Sales Account Executive

Hood Container Corporation is searching for an Account Executive with a hunter mindset to support their expanding Corrugated Converting Business. This role involves prospecting for new clients, building relationships, and achieving sales goals while leveraging various product segments.ResponsibilitiesActively seek new clients in addition to closing prospective business maintaining these various sales cycles in parallelQualify prospect opportunities and align with Sales Manager & General Manager on viabilityBuild relationships with and gain the trust of your customers to understand their needs and strategically work toward a solution to resolve their challengesContinuously learn new techniques by establishing and expanding your knowledge on paper / packaging solutions and the corrugated industryMeet or exceed your monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals as determined by sales budget & forecastsProactively communicate sales pipeline by leverage technology, e.g. Microsoft Office 365 and Customer Relation Management (CRM – Sales Force)Consult with management to understand operational needs and provide market feedback in relation to product types, pricing, and/or other customer solutionsWork with a sense of urgency to address customer concerns & provide creative solutions to meet the needs of internal & external customersCollaborate with Production, Customer Service, Design & Accounting to efficiently generate quotes, order tooling, coordinate trials, set up credit, manage orders, and resolve customer concernsSkillsLocated within Lincolnton, NC or within 150 mile radius (Alternate Metro: Charlotte, Asheville, Greenville)Experience working within the packaging industry preferred OR connections within industrial manufacturingExperience within a similar outside sales role with a track record of turning leads into actual sales in a business to business settingExperience managing an annual revenue portfolio of $2-$10 Million or moreExperience providing account management for customers of various sizesValid Driver's LicensePersonal accountability and growth mindsetEffective negotiation and persuasion skillsDemonstration of dynamic communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with all types of personalitiesAdaptability is key as you will need to navigate and demonstrate flexibility in an environment that can be ambiguous and uncertainGo-getter, self-starter, and team playerGeneral high level of enthusiasm, creative, and innovative abilityExperience working within the packaging industry preferred OR connections within industrial manufacturingBenefitsVehicle Reimbursement ProgramTravel & Expense AccountPhone AllowanceCompany OverviewWe are a national packaging solutions company with integrated mill-to-market capabilities.
