[Remote] Regional Sales Director (Rocky Mountains)

The Regional Sales Director will lead a high-performing sales team, drive the execution of commercial strategies, and foster partnerships with treatment centers and healthcare providers to support the launch of a new mental health therapy.ResponsibilitiesRecruit, onboard, and lead a team of Territory Account ManagersFoster a high-accountability, psychologically safe culture that promotes coaching, development, and collaborationSet clear expectations and performance standards aligned with company launch objectivesDrive successful regional execution of the commercial launch strategy and identify opportunities to expand the treatment ecosystemEnsure field readiness around clinical data, patient identification, treatment protocols, and site-of-care logisticsFoster strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, behavioral health systems, academic centers, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)Partner cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Training, Patient Support, etcProvide field insights to inform brand strategy and launch optimizationAnalyze regional performance metrics and develop action plans to drive resultsManage regional budgets, forecasting, and territory alignmentConduct regular field coaching to strengthen clinical selling skills and consultative engagement with mental health providersSkillsBachelor's degree required (advanced degree preferred)8-10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience5+ years of first-line sales leadership experienceDemonstrated success launching specialty or neuroscience therapiesExperience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health marketsExperience launching therapies requiring site certification, REMS, or specialized administration models and/or a background working with IDNs, academic medical centers, and specialty treatment sitesExperience building teams in startup or pre-launch biotech environmentsBenefitsAdditional discretionary bonusesEquityCompany OverviewCompass Pathways is a mental health care company that focuses on developing therapies for treatment-resistant depression.
