We are seeking a Senior IBMi (AS/400) Developer to join the Application Managed Services team. This role requires a subject matter expert with strong experience in legacy systems, capable of handling full lifecycle development, technical documentation, and complex problem-solving in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test applications in the IBMi (AS/400) environmentCreate and maintain detailed technical design documents and specificationsAnalyze and enhance existing applications using modern methodologiesProvide technical leadership and mentor junior developersCollaborate across teams to resolve complex technical issuesContribute to architecture decisions and system improvementsMaintain and enhance core business logic using RPG, CLLE, and COBOL

Required Skills (Top 3 Must-Have)

RPGLE / RPG – 5+ yearsCLLE – 5+ yearsDB2/400 SQL – 5+ years

Additional Desired Skills

AS/400 COBOL (Advanced proficiency)Agile methodology experienceExperience with bug tracking/reporting toolsIBM System i (AS/400) RPG IIIBachelor’s Degree (preferred)
