[Remote] Project Manager III

The Project Manager III will manage and oversee all aspects of large, complex projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, serving as a key liaison between internal teams, leadership, customers, and suppliers.ResponsibilitiesDirect and manage large, complex project development from initiation through completionDefine project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and key stakeholdersDevelop and maintain fullâscale project plans, execution strategies, timelines, budgets, and communications documentsIdentify, manage, and track project dependencies, risks, critical path, and milestones using appropriate project management toolsMonitor and control project performance, tracking milestones and deliverables to ensure consistent executionManage changes in project scope, assess potential impacts, identify concerns, and develop contingency and mitigation plansDevelop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations for internal leadership and customersCommunicate project expectations, priorities, and progress to team members, leadership, and stakeholdersServe as the primary liaison with internal and external project stakeholders on an ongoing basisSet and manage expectations with customers, ensuring alignment with contractual and PO requirementsUnderstand and communicate all customer, contract, and PO requirements to internal workstreams to ensure successful executionProactively communicate project status, risks, and needs to customersIdentify and manage customerâcritical milestones, deliverables, and success factorsDelegate tasks and responsibilities effectively and build accountability across crossâfunctional teamsIdentify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project teamSkillsAssociate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred5 years required, 7 years experience preferred of directing work in a large-scale project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and executionBusiness and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methodsPrior experience with managing people and processes to achieve objectivesAbility to build effective business relationships with other functional areas to best support mutual objectivesExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze workflow and processes to provide productive service to internal and external customersInterpersonal, conflict management, and negotiation skills required, including strong human relations skills to supervise and develop assigned employees effectivelyAdept at conducting research into project-related issues and productsAbility to learn, understand, and apply new technologiesAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasksEffective written and verbal communication skillsExcellent computer skillsBenefitsPaid time offMedical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement savings plansCompany OverviewAt Wesco, we believe life should run smoothly.
