They are seeking a visionary Product Manager to own and lead the development of their Document Management Platform, focusing on creating an intelligent and compliant document management system that enhances the payroll and workforce management ecosystem.ResponsibilitiesOwn and drive the product vision and roadmap for the Document Management Platform — setting a bold direction for next generation capabilities while ensuring the reliability and performance of current systemsLead the end-to-end discovery, design, and execution of a next generation document management system, guiding the architecture for document ingestion, storage, retrieval, versioning, access control, and retention at scaleDeeply understand current document workflows across our ecosystem and use those insights to inform a smarter, more intuitive platform that eliminates friction for both internal teams and external customersPartner with Engineering, Data, and Architecture teams to define and deliver platform-level capabilities — including document indexing, intelligent search, metadata standards, and integration APIsCollaborate with Payroll Operations, Legal, and Compliance stakeholders to ensure the new platform meets evolving regulatory requirements, including audit trail integrity and records retention obligationsTranslate product vision into clear, detailed requirements and acceptance criteria that give engineering teams the confidence to build and ship quicklyChampion a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging data, user research, and feedback loops to measure impact and accelerate iterationRegularly present strategy, roadmap, and results to leadership and business stakeholders, building excitement and alignment around where the platform is headedSkills5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of owning complex, foundational platform products from strategy through executionA builder's mindset — energized by greenfield opportunities and experienced in translating ambiguous problem spaces into clear, actionable product directionDomain familiarity with document management, content services, or records management in an enterprise or regulated industry contextStrong technical fluency with the ability to engage confidently with engineering and architecture teams on platform-level decisions, including APIs, storage systems, and data modelsUnderstanding of compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to document retention, access control, and audit logging — experience in payroll, HR, or entertainment production industries a plusProven ability to write clear, detailed product requirements and collaborate iteratively with engineering teams in an agile environmentExceptional communication and storytelling skills — equally comfortable in deep technical discussions and executive-level presentationsCuriosity and enthusiasm for AI/ML capabilities such as intelligent document processing, semantic search, and generative AI, and a drive to apply them in ways that create real user valueThrives in fast-paced, transformation-focused environments — energized by the challenge of building what's next while keeping today running smoothlyBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionPTOHealth and wellness programsEmployee discountsCast & Crew benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.Company OverviewCast & Crew began modestly as a small business that provided payroll services to the commercial and the music business.
