[Remote] Procurement Administrator

They are seeking a Procurement Administrator who will be responsible for driving efficiency in various procurement tasks, including purchase order management and vendor coordination.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the Three Bird Nest purchasing processesCreate purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all relevant information is includedSend purchase orders to vendors for approval and follow-up to ensure timely responsesValidate vendor invoice(s) against PO record in ShipHero prior to approvalDrive any required changes for all of the purchase ordersCollaborate with vendor on requested changes, and Supervisor if needed to ensure exact match and accuracyReconciliation of invoices to ensure costs and margins are within complianceCoordinate with new and existing vendors to ensure their shipment meets company Routing Guide complianceProvide final approval to vendors for payment and shipment once internal expectations have been metManage the execution of all shipment coordination and costs with our designated carrier and communicate tracking information to the vendor at the point of approvalFollow PO from time of approval to time of receipt to ensure there are no delays or issuesManage and resolve any shipment issues when necessaryWork closely with the Procurement Manager and Finance to assist with any reconciliation discrepancies following receipt of the productMaintain and update the supplier contacts, credits, and or RMA return(s) in the designated supplier’s summary spreadsheetCollaborate closely with the merchandising team to support their purchasing objectives and provide administrative assistance as requiredSkillsHigh school diploma or GED required, associate degree or higher preferredProven experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably in a retail, fashion environment, and/or logisticsProblem solver with a strong analytical mindsetStrong organizational and time management skillsStrong attention to detailExceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google DocsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when requiredCompany OverviewThree Bird Nest designs, manufactures, and sells fashionable apparel, jewelry, and accessories.
