York Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Architect to lead the vision, design, and evolution of enterprise platform ecosystems across cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, and data platforms. This role involves defining architecture strategy, governance models, and engineering standards to ensure that platforms are secure, scalable, and developer-friendly while influencing multiple teams and domains.ResponsibilitiesDefine enterprise AWS architecture patterns for multi-account, secure, and scalable environmentGovern infrastructure design across compute, storage, networking, IAM, and data serviceSet standards for resilience (HA/DR), cost optimization, and security postureProvide architectural oversight for RDS, OpenSearch, messaging, and distributed systemDefine and evolve Kubernetes platform strategy (EKS) across environmentsEstablish standards for GitOps, Helm, multi-cluster operations, and platform abstractionDrive adoption of secure, scalable cloud-native patternsEnsure integration of runtime security, observability, and policy enforcementDefine and govern enterprise DevSecOps strategy, standards, and operating modelsArchitect secure CI/CD frameworks with built-in quality, security, and compliance gatesEstablish enterprise patterns for software supply-chain security, including SCA, artifact governance, and policy enforcementStandardize and oversee tooling across SonarQube, JFrog (Artifactory/Xray), Jenkins, and GitOps (Argo CD)Drive shift-left security adoption and developer enablementAlign DevSecOps practices with security, risk, and compliance requirementsDefine architecture for data platforms and ETL ecosystems (e.g., Talend)Ensure secure, resilient integration patterns across databases, messaging, APIs, and file transfer systemsEstablish standards for data reliability, observability, and performance optimizationDrive adoption of Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) and self-service capabilitiesDefine reusable platform services, APIs, and golden paths for development teamsPartner with Developer Experience teams to reduce cognitive load and improve productivityDefine enterprise standards for observability, incident management, and SRE practicesDrive improvements in availability, performance, and operational maturityEstablish governance frameworks for cost management, security compliance, and risk mitigationAct as a technical authority across the organization, influencing architecture decisions at scaleLead cross-functional initiatives spanning infrastructure, security, and application teamsMentor senior engineers and architects, raising the overall engineering barTranslate business objectives into scalable technical strategies and roadmapsSkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field15+ years of experience in cloud, platform engineering, DevSecOps, or infrastructure architecture rolesProven track record designing and scaling enterprise cloud platforms on AWSDeep expertise in DevSecOps, secure SDLC, and software supply-chain securityAdvanced experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and cloud-native architectures at scaleStrong experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins), SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory/Xray, and GitOpsDemonstrated ability to define architecture standards, governance, and enterprise frameworksExperience leading large-scale transformations and influencing multi-team/platform strategyCompany OverviewWith 36 years of expertise, York Solutions stands as a leading Technology Consulting Firm, dedicated to providing tailored technology and talent solutions.
