They are seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to own the performance marketing program, managing significant ad spend across various channels to drive new user acquisition and ensure efficiency targets are met.ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end strategy and execution across global paid performance channels (including Google Ads, paid social (Meta, TikTok), and mobile UA) to hit aggressive new user acquisition and efficiency targetsDrive a rigorous testing and learning agenda across creatives, audiences, bidding strategies, and landing experiences; translate results into scaled playbooks for global marketsPartner with Data Science and Analytics to design experiments, incrementality tests, and measurement frameworks that connect channel performance to downstream business outcomesLead platform relationships with Google, Meta, TikTok, and others, aligning on betas, measurement approaches, and joint growth plans to unlock new capabilitiesBuild and maintain performance dashboards and reporting with clear visibility by geo, product, and channel; proactively surface insights, risks, and opportunities to leadershipCollaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Legal, Engineering, Creative, Data Science, and regional teamsSkillsA minimum of 5+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience, with deep expertise spanning paid search, paid social, and/or mobile user acquisition in an in-house or agency environmentProven track record owning large-scale media budgets and delivering measurable improvements in user acquisition efficiency across multiple channels and marketsStrong technical aptitude and experience leveraging LLMs, no-code/low-code platforms, and automation tools (e.g. Zapier, n8n, Make, Retool) to prototype custom agents and AI-driven workflows that accelerate growth experimentation, optimize operational efficiency, and scale hyper-targeted campaignsAnalytical and experimentation mindset; comfortable with spreadsheets and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Hex, Tableau, Superset) to build and launch tests, interpret results, and make data-grounded decisionsExperience with full-funnel measurement across app and web, including event strategy, SKAN/iOS privacy-aware execution, and incrementality testingB2C experience required; fintech, crypto, or high-consideration consumer financial products strongly preferredExcellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, able to synthesize complex performance narratives and influence senior stakeholders with clear recommendationsHighly organized with strong project management skills; able to manage multiple geographies, campaigns, tests, and priorities in parallel while maintaining execution qualityUtilize generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and qualityBenefitsEquity and bonus eligibilityBenefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k))Company OverviewCoinbase is a crypto exchange and wallet platform that allows merchants and consumers to buy, sell, and store digital currencies.
