[Remote] Paralegal, Ohio

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Law Offices of Robert S. Gitmeid & Assoc. PLLC is a consumer protection law firm located in the Financial District of New York City, providing representation to consumers who have been harassed or otherwise deceived by creditors and debt collectors. They are currently seeking a full-time Paralegal with civil litigation experience to support their attorneys in litigation-related matters and provide administrative support to the office staff. Responsibilities Assisting the firm’s attorneys in managing a high volume of litigation matters Drafting pleadings, legal memoranda, settlement agreements, etc Communication with clients and opposing counsel Research with regard to simple and complex legal matters Administrative responsibilities such as client intake, organizing, and record keeping Skills Minimum of 1-year civil litigation experience (e.g., drafting pleadings and legal research) Exceptional legal writing skills Possess superior organizational and time-management skills Must be computer literate: Ability to easily learn the Firm's case management software Highest ethical standards and professional integrity Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and outside parties You must be currently located in Ohio to be considered for this role Prior experience with Salesforce is a plus Paralegal Certification is a plus Benefits Monthly performance-based bonuses after 90 days of employment Training & Guidance Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits 401(k) Benefits with Employer Match Paid Time Off (PTO) Business Casual Dress Code Company Overview Law Offices of Robert S.
