Remote Occupational Therapy - NY
A fully remote opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist specializing in telehealth services within a school setting. This role supports students in addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional daily living activities through virtual interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Conduct telehealth evaluations and provide therapy sessions via video conferencing.
ā¢ Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment data tailored to students' needs.
ā¢ Collaborate with educational staff to support student progress and participation.
ā¢ Utilize virtual platforms to administer assessments and interactive learning materials.
ā¢ Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with clinical and technical support teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
ā¢ Valid Occupational Therapy licensure for New York State.
ā¢ Proven experience delivering occupational therapy services through telehealth.
ā¢ Familiarity with school-based therapy procedures and educational requirements.
ā¢ Proficient with virtual platforms and comfortable using technology for remote service delivery.
ā¢ Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and coordinate care.
Location: This contract position is based in Queens Village, NY, but services are provided entirely virtually, offering flexibility and eliminating commuting.
