[Remote] Nonqualified Deferred Compensation Plan Communications Consultant

They are seeking a Nonqualified Deferred Compensation Communications Consultant who will create and execute communication campaigns to enhance participant experience and achieve business objectives related to nonqualified retirement plans.ResponsibilitiesResearch, design, write, and edit NQDC communications programs, using a multi-media approach, i.e., email, print, digital, face-to-face, etcPartner with Marketing to create global education materials used by NQDC plansSupport our NQ institutional partners in terms of participant communications including core educational materials, client-specific requests, and special projects/requestCreate customized targeted communication campaigns for clients based upon their goals and objectives. This includes identifying measurable goals and results for each campaignEngage with the product and compliance teams to ensure materials are accurate and approved for use with participantsProactively recommend new communication initiatives based on marketplace observations, participant, and client needsResponsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clientsSkillsBachelor's degree in Communications, English, Business Administration, Marketing or related fieldAt least seven (7) years experience in the retirement plan (preferably NQDC) or benefits consulting marketplace, with demonstrated expertise across various marketing disciplines including participant communications programsStrong attention to detail and experience proofreading and editingStrong PC skills, including MS Suite (advanced PowerPoint), Adobe, Illustrator, and BrainsharkExcellent writing and creative skillsKnowledge of graphic identity standardsProblem solving skills: Must be proactive and resourceful and able to exercise sound judgmentInterpersonal skills: Works well with others; able to work as a team member and interact effectively with all levels of employees including senior executivesStrong project management skills: Able to develop and execute project plans. Manage multiple assignments at a time and work well under pressureKnowledge of current issues and marketplace trendsHigh degree of personal initiative, dedication, and commitment to making the client's initiative successful and of the highest quality.
