[Remote] IT Security Analyst

TECEZE is seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst with strong expertise in Web Application Firewall (WAF), CDN, and Edge Security technologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, configuring, and optimizing WAF solutions to protect enterprise applications while ensuring high availability and performance.ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and configure WAF solutions such as Akamai, Cloudflare, AWS WAF, and ImpervaImplement and manage security policies, rules, signatures, and access controlsTune WAF configurations to achieve the right balance between security and application performanceIntegrate WAF solutions with CDN, DNS, and load-balancing environmentsMonitor, analyze, and respond to web application security threats and incidentsTroubleshoot network, application delivery, and edge security issuesWork closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to implement security best practicesContribute to maintaining 99.99%+ application availability and performanceDevelop automation scripts and tools using Python or Bash to improve operational efficiencyPerform security assessments and recommend improvements for web application protectionMaintain documentation for security configurations, policies, and operational proceduresSkills5+ years of hands-on experience with Akamai5+ years of hands-on experience with Cloudflare5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS WAF5+ years of hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancers (including ASM – moderate knowledge)Strong understanding of Layer 7 security concepts and web application vulnerabilitiesStrong knowledge of DNS architecture, DNS resolution, and traffic flowExperience troubleshooting network, CDN, and edge delivery issuesExperience implementing and managing WAF policies and custom security rulesUnderstanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and web application security best practicesBasic scripting experience using Python or Bash for automationExperience working with CDN, Load Balancing, and Application Delivery technologiesExperience with Imperva WAFKnowledge of F5 XC (Distributed Cloud Services)Experience with cloud security technologies and AWS environmentsFamiliarity with SIEM, monitoring, and security logging toolsRelevant certifications in Security, Cloud, or Networking are a plusCompany OverviewTECEZE offers a full spectrum of Information Technology services.
