Solis Health Plans is a new kind of Medicare Advantage Company dedicated to providing a personal experience throughout the healthcare journey. The Internal Sales Associate is responsible for advising Medicare Beneficiaries on plan benefits and conducting sales presentations to enroll prospective members, ensuring compliance with all guidelines and maintaining high enrollment rates.ResponsibilitiesPerforms compliant sales presentations to enroll prospective members into the Plan as per Marketing Policies and Procedures while complying with State and Federal GuidelinesEnsures only Medicare Approved Materials are used during presentationsConducts in-person appointments at participating medical centers or prospect’s homeConverts appointments into enrollmentsChecks enrollment paperwork for accuracy and completionCoordinates new member’s first visit with their primary care physicianMaintains enrollment rate that is deemed acceptableAchieves corporate enrollment goalsCommunicates effectively in person and by phoneRequires daily use of considerable discretion and judgmentResolves member issues concerning plan benefits, medication copays, etcAssists members as deemed necessaryCommunicates effectively with other professional and support staff in order to achieve positive customer outcomesPromotes and contributes to a positive, problem-solving environmentAssists customers, family members and others with concern and empathy; respect their confidentiality and privacy and communicate with them in a courteous and respectful mannerComplies with company policies and procedures and maintains confidentiality of customer medical records in accordance with state and federal lawsEnsures compliance with all HIPAA, OSHA, and other federal, state, and local regulationsParticipates in meetings, training and in-service education, as requiredPerforms other duties as assignedSkillsBilingual In English And Spanish RequiredMedicare Sales Experience RequiredHigh school graduate or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAgent License 2-15 (Life, Health & Variable Annuity) or 2-40 (Health), in good standing, requiredCertificate of completion for either Gorman or AHIP for corresponding yearCopy of Continuing Education transcriptsNational Producer NumberValid drivers licenseReliable transportationMust be goal and result driven (ability to meet quotas)Attention to detailData entry SkillsFlexible schedule in order to meet with prospective members during non-business hoursExcellent computer knowledge is required, including proficient knowledge of Microsoft OfficeMust be patient in dealing with an elderly population and sympathetic to hearing or vision deficienciesExcellent listening, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organizationAbility to work effectively independently and in a team environmentAbility to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulationsAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general publicAbility to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area and volumeAbility to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsStrong decision-making, analytical skillsMust be self-motivated, organized and have excellent prioritization skillsMust be able to work well under stressful conditionsMust be able to work in a fast paced environmentExcellent customer service skillsFluency in Spanish or Creole preferredCompany OverviewSolis Health Plans is a medicare firm that deals with healthcare solutions and plans.
