The Associate BI Analyst will support reporting needs, ensure accurate data analysis, and assist in developing and maintaining reports while collaborating with various stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesGenerating and maintaining regular and ad-hoc reports for various stakeholdersAssisting in the development and documentation of new reporting processesTracking and analyzing data to identify trends and provide actionable insightsCollaborating with team members to ensure data accuracy and consistencySupporting the documentation of standard operating procedures and best practicesAssisting in tracking project progressStriving to improve process; isolating areas for improvement and delivering change for effectiveness and efficiencyTroubleshoot data input/output format as it relates to claim structure (JSON) as defined in the API data dictionaryTest and troubleshoot claim results as it relates to backend processing (JSON) using third party automation tools such as PostmanSupport systems and partner integration testing, reports, and correspondence testingSupport capturing defects, performing initial triage, tracking and re-testing remediationFollow all policies related to handling and access to client and PHI dataPerform all job functions consistent with HealthEdge Source policies and procedures, including those which govern the handling of PHI and PIISkillsTechnical experience with health insurance systems, especially with healthcare insurance payors, focusing on software integrationExposure to projects involving data analysis and migrations, including data mapping, transformation, and results reconciliationBasic understanding of Restful APIs, JSON, and tools like PostmanFamiliarity with gathering and analyzing requirements for enterprise applicationsKnowledge of CMS 1500 and UB04 claims formsUnderstanding of Medicare claim pricing and editingBasic knowledge of XML and JSONFamiliarity with SQL databases and understanding of tables and relationsA four-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fieldsExperience with issue tracking systems like Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNowCompany OverviewHealthEdge Software offers benefits administration and care management software solutions.
