[Remote] HVAC Mechanical Designer (Remote)

They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to support the design and development of industrial and facility systems, working closely with engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality construction documents.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and coordinate mechanical system designs, layouts, and equipment arrangements for industrial and facility projectsPrepare project deliverables including 3D models, plans, details, sections, flow diagrams, P&IDs, sketches, and construction documentsPerform code research and participate in design reviews to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirementsCoordinate designs with internal and external stakeholders to resolve conflicts and ensure seamless integration across disciplinesConduct field surveys and verify existing conditions to support design developmentReview specifications and incorporate project requirements into design deliverablesReview and check design work for accuracy, quality, and completenessProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and support engineers as neededParticipate in project meetings, design reviews, and coordination sessions with clients and project teamsAssist with labor estimates, submittal reviews, and other project support activitiesSupport engineering calculations and analysis under the direction of project engineers when requiredSkillsAssociates degree in Computer Drafting & design, similar course, or related work experienceExperience in building mechanical design systems in semiconductor or related high tech type facilitiesMinimum of 5 years of work experienceExtensive modeling & drafting experience using Revit and AutoCAD (or other programs as necessary)Strong working knowledge of relevant codes & standardsNavisworks expertise in model reviewDeep knowledge of HVAC and related mechanical systemsLegally authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without sponsorshipBackground screenings requiredBenefitsHealth InsuranceLife Insurance401kCompany OverviewOn-Board Companies is a management consulting enterprise located in New Jersey.
