Confidential Careers is seeking a Human Resources Benefits Manager who will be responsible for the strategic planning, administration, and compliance of employee benefits programs. This role involves overseeing health and welfare plans, retirement programs, and wellness initiatives while ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee all company-sponsored benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, voluntary benefits, and wellness initiativesEvaluate benefit plan effectiveness and recommend improvements to support organizational goals and employee needsPrepare annual benefits planning, budgeting, and forecasting activitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain benefits policies, procedures, and operational controlsOversee benefits-related administration within enrollment, payroll, HRIS, retirement, and timekeeping systemsEnsure data integrity across all benefits-related databases and reporting platformsPartner with the Person Office, Payroll, Finance, Business Intelligence and vendors to resolve system and data discrepanciesEnsure compliance with all applicable U.S. regulation governing U.S. Benefits plans including but not limited to ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, Section 125, FMLA, USERRA, QMCSO, SECURE 2.0 and other applicable federal and state regulationsManage plan audits, regulatory filings, nondiscrimination testing, and compliance reporting requirementsMonitor legislative changes and recommend organizational actions to maintain complianceManage relationships with benefits vendors, brokers, consultants, carriers, and third-party administratorsConduct vendor performance evaluations and participate in vendor selection, contract negotiations, and renewal processesServe as the primary escalation point for complex benefits issuesDevelop and execute benefits communication strategies to improve employee understanding and engagementProvide guidance and consultation to employees and managers regarding benefits eligibility, coverage, claims issues, and plan provisionsLead employee education initiatives and benefits training programsLead annual open enrollment planning, implementation, communication, and execution activitiesManage Evidence of Insurability, dependent verification, and other benefits eligibility processesOversee employee well-being programs and initiativesPrepare and analyze benefits utilization, participation, cost, and compliance reportsPresent recommendations and findings to the Vice President of Global Benefits to support strategic decision-makingMonitor industry trends and benefits programs against market practicesLead benefits-related projects, process improvements, and system implementationsProvide guidance, training, and mentorship to benefit team members as applicablePartner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve operational effectiveness and employee experienceAdhere to company guidelines and policiesPerform other duties and special projects as assignedSkills5+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration or benefits management2+ years of experience managing benefits programs, projects, vendors, or team membersDemonstrated experience with U.S. employee benefit plans and compliance requirementsExperience analyzing benefits data and developing recommendations based on findingsHigh school or equivalent (Required)Benefits administration: 5 years (Required)Location: Colorado (Required)7+ years of benefits administration and management experienceCertified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR, or related certificationAdvanced knowledge of U.S. Benefits regulationsExperience with SAP and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and PayrollExperience supporting multi-state or global employee populationsManagement: 2 years (Preferred)BenefitsMedicalDentalVisionEmployee Assistance ProgramLife and Accidental Death & DismembermentShort Term DisabilityLong Term DisabilityAccidentCritical IllnessHospital IndemnityLegalIdentity ProtectionPet Insurance401kPaid time off (PTO) benefits based on the Company’s current paid time off policies and in accordance with applicable state lawPaid Sick and Safety Leave, per applicable state law provisions and Company policy401(k)401(k) matchingAD&D insuranceDental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insuranceProfessional development assistanceReferral programVision insuranceCompany OverviewDisclaimer : We are a community and job agrregator job board, where recruiters & job seekers as members connect for confidential and other roles.
