[Remote] Engineering Project Manager

The role involves overseeing capital and process improvement projects, managing safety, scope, budget, timelines, and collaboration across multiple plant locations.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage engineering projects from initiation through execution and close‑outDevelop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategiesProvide technical guidance and coordinate with internal teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operationsCollaborate with external partners such as equipment suppliers, contractors, and engineering service providersMonitor project performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budgetEnsure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., USDA, FDA)Prepare and deliver routine project updates, status reports, and milestone communication to stakeholdersPromote continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices within engineering and project teamsManage multiple concurrent projects across various plant locationsMaintain a strong commitment to safety protocols and safe project execution across all sitesSkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering or 8+ years of equivalent project leadership experience in food, pharmaceutical, or CPG manufacturingMinimum 4 years of engineering project leadership experience within a regulated manufacturing environment (food, pharma, or CPG)Proven success managing capital or technical projects of $10M+ in scopeAbility to travel up to 50% based on project needs; must reside within reasonable proximity to a major airportCompany OverviewDSJ Global is a staffing agency that offers recruitment solutions to supply chain, procurement, technical operations and logistics sectors.
