They are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce Systems Administrator to manage and optimize their Salesforce platform, ensuring its stability and performance while aligning enhancements with organizational goals.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary system administrator and owner of the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, and other relevant Salesforce productsOwn and help shape the Salesforce platform roadmap, aligning enhancements with organizational priorities and growthAct as a thought partner on how Salesforce should evolve as the organization scales, proactively identifying opportunities to improve scalability, usability, and cross-team effectivenessManage user account setup and deactivation, including roles, profiles, permission sets, and license allocationsEnsure appropriate system access, security, and compliance across all user groupsMaintain clean, accurate, and reliable data through regular audits, deduplication, and data import/export activitiesPerform data operations using tools such as Data Loader and Data Import WizardSupport data governance practices that promote consistency, accuracy, and responsible data useDesign, build, and maintain custom reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across departmentsPartner with stakeholders to ensure reporting aligns with business needs and delivers actionable insightsCreate and maintain automated workflows and system configurations using Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and (where applicable) ApexConfigure validation rules, custom objects, fields, page layouts, and related platform components to support scalable solutionsContinuously improve system efficiency by reducing manual processes and improving user experienceEnsure the platform complies with internal data governance standards and external regulatory requirementsManage field-level security, audit logs, data visibility, and access controls to protect sensitive informationProactively monitor Salesforce performance and system healthIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to ensure platform stability and reliabilityRespond to issues with a strong sense of ownership and follow-throughManage and test system updates, Salesforce seasonal releases, and third-party app integrationsCoordinate releases to minimize disruption and ensure compatibility across environmentsSupport structured change management and communication around system updatesSupport and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems, including marketing platforms, finance systems, data warehouses, and external applicationsPartner with internal and external technical resources to design, implement, and troubleshoot integration workflowsEnsure data flows are reliable, well-documented, and scalablePartner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate needs into scalable Salesforce solutions, and ensure alignment between technical functionality and business goalsDevelop training materials, conduct user training sessions, and provide ongoing support to drive adoption and effective use of the Salesforce platformSkillsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in a Salesforce administrative role3โ5 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a professional settingSalesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201)Experience working within Agile or Scrum development methodologiesAdditional Salesforce certifications such as: Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud ConsultantFamiliarity with sandbox management, deployment processes, and version control toolsBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverageA 403(b) retirement plan with employer contributionGenerous paid time offAdditional benefits designed to support employeesโ health, financial well-being, and work-life balanceCompany OverviewTalentED Advisors is a boutique talent management firm that specializes in working with nonprofits and social impact organizations โ namely public schools and districts, colleges and universities, and nonprofits.
