The role requires a self-motivated individual with a strong business network to effectively identify new prospects and deliver exceptional client relationships.ResponsibilitiesProspect for clients and set up introductory meetingsWork with our other team members to deliver amazing software solutions and technical advisory servicesConsult with and advise executives about technology trendsCommunicate with customers and potential customers effectively in a variety of environmentsDeliver best practice presentations and speeches at major industry eventsBe the first contact point for many customers – must leave an amazing first impression, and set the foundation for long-term client relationshipsProvide support for key business processes, including forecasting and business planningLeverage sales tools to meet and exceed daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly targetsStay up to date on technology, including trends, roadmaps, market conditions, etcDevelop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customersSkillsAt least 10 years of work experience and expertise in one or more industriesGenuine technical credibility and the ability to drive discussions with C-level stakeholders at startups and large enterprisesEnthusiasm for consultative sales and advising clientsExperience developing, maintaining and obtaining meetings with C-Level relationshipsStrong professional network/industry connections to identify opportunities, develop effective partnerships, and generate sales opportunitiesAble to travel to onsite events as needed (the job will require roughly 10% travel)Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills suitable for a fast-paced sales environmentHighly interested in technology, especially software developmentHigh energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and ability to work well under pressureExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional listening skills and the ability to persuade, using communication creatively to convey complex conceptsBenefitsGreat colleagues and an upbeat work environment: You'll join an excellent team of supportive engineers and project managers who work hard but don't ever compete with each other.Company OverviewPlan A Technologies is a software development shop and consultancy company.
