This role involves managing corporate marketing programs, collaborating with sales and marketing teams, and ensuring successful execution of events that enhance Optiv’s brand and business growth.ResponsibilitiesManage all corporate marketing programs within the US and Canada, including but not limited to, OptivCon (Optiv-led strategic, solution-focused roadshows), industry conferences (RSA & Black Hat), internal kickoffs, webinars, and partner-end user conferencesPlan and execute strong, data-driven marketing activities and programs to drive pipeline generation and global brand awareness - from the development of the strategy and plan, to content oversight, pre-event campaign strategy, event execution, and post-event analysis and evaluationDevise and execute events and similar programs that reflect the company’s culture, business goals and objectivesPartner with the PMO team to define and communicate creative requirements for print and digital signage, booth graphics, and event collateral, including timelines, specifications, and approvalsCollaborate with Product Marketing and Brand & Comms to create program content that educates and inspires the cybersecurity community while driving awareness and revenue to the organizationPartner with Sales GTM team, AVPs and Regional Sales Directors to understand their business needs and tailor corporate programs to align with national objectives and regional goals and prioritiesResponsible for researching and securing venue options, booking keynote speakers, building out program registration pages in Marketo and Cvent, providing registration reporting, invitation creation, shipping materials, and all onsite program executionNegotiate all logistics including sponsorships, exhibit presence, booth staffing, communications, and responsible for post event reporting and analytics while operating within designated budgetDeliver timely and detailed communications to internal clients, including executives, throughout the entire event cycleAnalyze investment, expected return, and overall feasibility of proposed activities, working with cross-functional marketing teams if additional resources are needed to meet program objectivesEvaluate feasibility of additional corporate opportunities for the sales team to engage with prospects and build pipelineWork with sales leadership to analyze partner involvement, and create strategies for partner participation throughout the year, as it aligns to Optiv solutions and priorityWork with the Global Partner Alliance and Partner Marketing teams to identify and evaluate key technology partner campaign event strategies that can be driven at a national level to drive and influence salesResponsible for producing and managing program budgets, securing adequate partner funding, and tracking MDF to ensure there is no profit lossWork closely with the broader marketing team to promote event presence via multiple channels and track event ROI and contribution to the company's KPIsCollaborating with Optiv’s partner community on corporate sponsorships, which entails clear communications, timely responses, processing and tracking contracts and master agreements, and reconciling all post event invoicingWork with internal stakeholders to evaluate and influence utilization of funding pools to ensure investment dollars are optimized in helping Optiv and partner achieve their goalsTravel to events as required (15-20%)Responsible for securing partner funding to defray event costs, either directly with partner manufacturers or through distributionSubmit contracts and funding paperwork to technology partnersEnsure necessary documentation is uploaded into NetSuite to support MDF claimsSkills7+ years of professional, business marketing event management experience including largescale event management, strategy, creation, and executionPassion for corporate marketing and working with sales to generate pipeline and drive businessDemonstrable understanding of all phases of corporate marketing including promotions, traffic drivers, staff training, logistics, KPIs and metricsAbility to demonstrate leadership, creativity, and initiativeExcellent strategic thinking skills with ability to make data-driven decisionsExperience working with sales leadership and ability to influence others cross functionallyStrong work ethic operating with a sense of urgency, ability to multi-task, strong organizational, and project management skills, and a can-do attitudeExperience working in technology or cybersecurity preferredExperience writing external facing marketing correspondence that supports marketing programs, lead generation activities, and marketing communication effortsExperience working with product manufacturers and distribution channelsBachelor's degree with an emphasis in Marketing, Business, Communications, or EnglishExperience working in technology or cybersecurity preferredExperience with Salesforce, Marketo, Cvent, NetSuite, WorkFront, Airtable or similar integrated marketing tools is preferredBenefitsA company committed to our inclusive value through our Employee Resource GroupsWork/life balanceProfessional training resourcesCreative problem-solving and the ability to tackle unique, complex projectsVolunteer Opportunities. “Optiv Chips In” encourages employees to volunteer and engage with their teams and communities.The ability and technology necessary to productively work remotely/from home (where applicable)Company OverviewOptiv is a cyber security solutions provider in North America that help clients plan, build and run successful cyber security programs.
