Position at a Glance: • Compensation: Competitive salary of $27/hour • Location: Remote (Connecticut, USA) • Start Date: Immediate openings available • Position: Video Operator • Company: Disney (through Workwarp) • Employment Type: Full-time • Work Hours: 8 hours per day Job Summary: As a Video Operator, you will be responsible for supporting the technical requirements of Disney's remote broadcasts, ensuring high-quality video production and transmission. You will work closely with the video team and staff to set up, operate, and troubleshoot video equipment, as well as provide technical expertise during live events. Key Responsibilities: • Adjust video levels, black/white balance, and color balance between all cameras to ensure consistent video quality • Operate and troubleshoot video equipment, including cameras, cabling, and lenses • Collaborate with the video team and staff to set up screens for talent and the show • Investigate and resolve video issues, including camera, cabling, and lens problems • Manage and organize remote compound video, fiber link, and source lists • Coordinate, plan, and develop workflows with the help of Operations and Production partners • Provide technical expertise in the setup and execution of live events, including transmission trucks, fly packs, and fiber units • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using specialized tools and equipment Essential Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., communications, media production, or a related field) • Proficient knowledge of live production equipment and operations • Experience with reading and working with waveform/vectorscope (designs - SDI and IP, HD, UHD, and HDR) • Ability to manage camera look and color requirements • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills using technical expertise and specialized tools • Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as needed Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of broadcast equipment and remote production show needs • Experience with fiber optic systems and cabling • Familiarity with video production software and hardware What We Offer: As a Disney team member, you'll enjoy a range of benefits and perks, including: • Competitive salary and benefits package • Opportunities for career growth and professional development • Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options • Access to cutting-edge technology and equipment • Collaborative and dynamic work environment • Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance Why Join Disney?
