[Remote] Business Development Representative

They are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to identify and engage prospective clients, helping to build their sales pipeline and drive revenue in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesAssist in responding to all inbound sales inquiries in a timely manner, qualifying leads and routing them to the appropriate Account ExecutiveConduct targeted outbound prospecting through cold outreach calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to build and grow the sales pipelineSchedule discovery calls and product demonstrations for Account ExecutivesResearch and qualify prospects to determine fit, identifying key decision-makers and tailoring outreach by company segment and personaManage and follow up with free trial sign-ups, converting qualified leads into active opportunitiesMaintain CRM cleanliness in Copper by accurately logging all activity, updating account records, merging duplicates, and managing account ownershipCollaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align outreach with campaigns, messaging, and product positioningMeet and exceed monthly targets for qualified meetings and Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs)Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and the sports data/API landscape to effectively communicate SportsDataIO’s value propositionDevelop outreach templates and email sequences tailored to specific industry segments and prospect profilesSkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)1+ year of full-time BDR, SDR, or relevant sales experience1+ year of experience working with a CRM platform; experience with Copper is a plus1+ year of experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting toolsStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport quicklySelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently in a fully remote environmentComfortable with outbound prospecting, inbound qualification, and managing a high volume of activityAbility to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentA collaborative team player who is receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvementAmbition to grow a long-term career in sales, with a possible path toward an Account Executive rolePassion for sports with an understanding of the sports data, gaming, or media industry is highly preferredBenefitsUnlimited paid time off (PTO).401(k) with company match.Health and dental insurance.Company OverviewSportsDataIO provides real-time data and content feeds from its API, including scores, stats, odds, projections, news, and images.
