Data Based Development Systems is seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and expand strategic partnerships within their staffing and workforce solutions business. The role focuses on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and developing customized talent solutions for clients to grow revenue.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within target markets and industriesBuild and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, HR leaders, and executive decision-makersDevelop strategic sales plans to expand presence within existing and new accountsConduct client meetings, presentations, and solution-based sales discussionsPartner closely with recruiting teams to ensure successful delivery of qualified candidates and workforce solutionsNegotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing structuresMaintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting through CRM toolsAttend industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to generate new business opportunitiesStay informed on industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitive intelligenceMeet or exceed established sales and revenue goalsSkills5+ years of business development, sales, account management, or staffing industry experienceProven success generating new business and growing client relationshipsStrong understanding of staffing, recruiting, workforce solutions, or professional servicesExcellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teamsExperience using CRM systems and sales pipeline management toolsBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experienceExperience selling Engineering, IT, Technical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Utility, Government, or Professional Services staffing solutionsExisting network of hiring managers and decision-makersExperience working with MSP, VMS, and procurement-driven environmentsCompany OverviewA privately-held IT company located in Glastonbury, CT, serving companies big and small.
