[Remote] Accounts Receivable Analyst

Eximia Research is a clinical research network that is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to support billing, collections, and account reconciliations. The role involves maintaining accurate receivable balances, managing collection risks, and collaborating with various teams to ensure timely revenue collection.ResponsibilitiesGenerate sponsor and CRO invoices based on approved budgets and contract termsValidate billable activity through CTMS, finance systems, and supporting study documentationPrepare invoice backup documentationEnsure timely submission of invoices according to protocol and contract requirementsMonitor unbilled study activity and escalate concernsManage assigned sponsor and CRO accountsConduct routine collection activities through email and telephone outreachTrack collection efforts and payment commitmentsEscalate delinquent accounts according to established proceduresAssist in resolving invoice disputes and payment delaysReconcile sponsor payment reports against open invoicesResearch short payments, unapplied cash, and deductionsInvestigate discrepancies between CTMS activity and financial recordsMaintain accurate AR records and supporting documentationAssist with payment application reviewVerify proper allocation of payments to studies, sponsors, and sitesIdentify unapplied cash and support resolution effortsMaintain aging reportsTrack collection activity and outstanding balancesPrepare monthly AR performance reportsAnalyze payment trends and identify collection risksSupport DSO and cash flow improvement initiativesPartner with Site Directors and Study Coordinators to resolve billing issuesCollaborate with Budget and Contract teams regarding invoicing requirementsSupport month-end close activitiesParticipate in AR process improvement initiativesSkillsBachelor's Degree in AccountingBachelor's Degree in FinanceBachelor's Degree in Business AdministrationBachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or equivalent experience2–5 years AR, billing, revenue cycle, or accounting experienceStrong analytical skillsIntermediate to advanced ExcelFinancial reconciliation experienceCollections experienceStrong attention to detailExcellent written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple prioritiesCustomer-service mindset while maintaining collection disciplineHealthcare or clinical research experienceExperience with sponsor/CRO invoicing strongly preferredExperience with NetSuite, CTMS, Salesforce, or similar systems preferredCompany OverviewExperience.
