They are seeking a dynamic Account Manager to develop and manage account strategies focused on growth and customer satisfaction in the field of laboratory automation.ResponsibilitiesLeading the development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work growth actionsUnderstanding the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sustainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer’s business and business environment, translating them into the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABBParticipating in the development of sales strategies for the accounts through providing current business and long-term plans for the customerDefining sales targets, giving input on market price developments monitoring competitors’ activity with the account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are implementedManages administrative procedures in sales processes and supports collection and project management activities when neededPrepares offers in coordination with the bid and proposal departmentEnsures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditionsSkillsBachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology or equivalent field5+ years' expertise in laboratory processes and/or laboratory equipment sales requiredPrior work experience related to laboratory automation and robotics will be highly valuedExperience in Account Management is a plusAvailability to travel (up to 50% of the time)Outgoing, goal-oriented individual with good communication and interpersonal skillsApplicants must possess work authorization to work permanently in the United StatesBenefitsChoice between two medical plan options: A PPO plan called the Copay Plan OR a High-Deductible Health Plan (with a Health Savings Account) called the High Deductible Plan.Choice between two dental plan options: Core and Core PlusVision benefitCompany paid life insurance (2X base pay)Company paid AD&D (1X base pay)Voluntary life and AD&D – 100% employee paid up to maximumsShort Term Disability – up to 26 weeks – Company paidLong Term Disability – 60% of pay – Company paid.
