The Account Executive will lead client strategy execution, build strong client relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance client experiences and drive business success.ResponsibilitiesLead execution of client strategy in collaboration with clinical, client services, and operations teamsBuild and maintain strong client stakeholder relationships at all levels via timely and effective communication including phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetingsCollaborate with internal departments to develop and effectively deliver quarterly, annual, and other client reporting packages that drive and support client strategy through analytical interpretation of dataIdentify and present appropriate benefit design and up-sell opportunities that contribute to an excellent client experienceLeverage knowledge of PBM and Pharmacy industries to provide a consultative approach to client needsDrive and own client renewals through collaborative development of ongoing, effective client strategy fostered by strong relationships with key client stakeholdersOwn contracting processes to include negotiations and ongoing compliance to contract/agreement termsParticipate in the resolution of escalated client issues as needed in cooperation with the Client Experience TeamParticipate in Request for Proposal (RFP) processes to support sales initiatives by assisting with questions and responses as assignedAssist with onboarding and implementing new business to provide a cohesive incoming client experienceIdentify market and organization needs and support business development efforts by sharing information with internal key stakeholders to improve client experience and drive organization success and efficiencyAssists in identifying business line issues and defining stop-gap solutions and long-term solutionsPerform other duties as assignedSkillsRequires a BA/BS in Business, HealthCare Administration or related field, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent backgroundMinimum of 3 years' experience as an account manager or account executive, managing own book of clients that are moderate to complex in natureStrong Account Management, Project Management, Sales and Negotiation skills Excellent communication, both written and oral, and interpersonal skillsStrong presentation skills to all levels of employeesAbility to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal partnersAbility to be a trusted partner and advisor and be able to influence internal and external partnersKnowledge of pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industry Understanding of healthcare and insurance industry Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targetsProficient in Microsoft OfficeAbility to travel frequently including overnight staysHands on and demonstrated experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) industrySolid understanding of PBM Operations including claims submission and processing, and familiarity with medications and their usesKnowledge of HIPAA regulationsCompany OverviewLucyRx is an independent, next-generation pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) that is transforming prescription care.
