The role involves achieving sales targets, building relationships, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop strategic plans.ResponsibilitiesSupport Regional Key Account Managers with customer headquarters calls with the Barcel USA Emerging Brands PortfolioCoordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customer expectationsMeet assigned goals for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives across all brands and categories within designated accountsProactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basisLead solution development efforts that effectively address customer needs, coordinating with relevant company personnel as necessaryDeliver annual volume targets while managing trade spend and profit plans for the Emerging Brands PortfolioBe the Subject Matter Expert on the Route to Market opportunities for the Emerging Brands PortfolioConduct ongoing analysis of business trends to identify gaps in planning and executionActively participate in the annual planning and forecasting process in collaboration with each channel of business that you supportDevelop annual promotion plans in line with the Emerging Brands Trade Spending Plan, ensuring flawless execution through consistent customer engagementCoordinate the effectiveness of customer Joint Business Planning processes, including assortment and segmentation (POG) reviews and scorecard sessions, utilizing fact-based sellingRepresenting the Emerging Brands Portfolio at Industry and Customer Trade Show EventsPerform other tasks as assigned by your supervisorSkillsEducation: Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketingMinimum 5-7 years of strategic sales support experience: preferably with a consumer-packaged goods organizationProficient in Circana (IRI), Retail Link, Nielsen dataKnowledgeable of Warehouse replenishment programs and supply chain requirements with 3rd party distributorsFrequently participated in successful strategic joint business planning sessions with major CPG retail accountsAbility to create selling materials to communicate and execute promotions and other trade events ensuring effective ROIAbility to educate and influence the internal selling organization with Barcel USA's Emerging Brand PortfolioProven track record of effective trade expense managementAbility to create effective and dynamic presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelTravel: 40%-50%***Must live in California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or Utah.***Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, negotiation, influencing and follow up skillsSolid understanding of financials including P&L impact of sales decisionsProven leadership capability with a track record of leading and influencing large multi-level and or cross functional teamsCommitment and ability to succeed within a complex organizationGreat Interpersonal SkillsDetail & Results OrientedSuperior Oral/Written Communication CapabilityAnalytical & Critical Thinking SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills requiredAbility to multi-task, prioritize and organize in a fast-paced environmentCompany OverviewBarcel USA is a food and beverage company that manufactures candy and snacks.
