The role involves collaborating with a diverse team to turn complex biomedical data into AI-driven workflows and contributing to model development and research across various applications.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and evaluate ML, deep learning, and LLM-based workflows for digital pathology and oncology dataBuild data and model pipelines for biopsy images, clinical records, reports, and other biomedical datasetsUse LLM tools and coding assistants to accelerate research, analysis, prototyping, and workflow automationDesign and run experiments, analyze model performance, and translate results into clear conclusionsCollaborate with data scientists, engineers, pathologists, and clinical experts to turn research questions into working AI solutionsSkillsBSc or MSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field5+ years of experience in deep learning and machine learning algorithm development3+ years of experience developing instance segmentation models2+ years of experience working with LLMs and prompt engineeringExperience using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar toolsStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn quicklyCompany OverviewImagene AI is democratizing precision medicine with multi-modal foundation models and an end-to-end OI Suite.
