Receptionist- Ambulatory Surgical Center-Part-Time Riverside Eye Center Lewiston, Maine Riverside Eye Surgery Center is seeking an ASC Receptionist to work in their Lewiston, Maine office to play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for patients undergoing surgical procedures at Riverside Eye Surgery Center. This position supports the daily operations of the ambulatory surgery center through patient-facing responsibilities and essential administrative and logistical tasks. This is a 28 hour/ week position. \ Requirements of the ASC Receptionist: High School diploma or equivalent required. Previous medical office or surgical center experience preferred. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and ability to learn quickly. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with computers and Electronic Health Record systems. Ability to work 10-hour days on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Collect and process payments at time of service. Prepare patient charts and complete chart takedown. Receive deliveries and assist with putting supplies away as needed. Assist with ordering surgical and office supplies. Manage lens inventory and place lens orders as directed. Escort patients or assist with patient flow as needed to support clinical staff.
