Job Description

As the Quality Assurance Specialist, you will lead the quality program and support both in‑house and outsourced fabrication activities.
• Own and manage the company's Quality Management System aligned with ISO 9001 standards
• Lead internal and external audit activities and train internal teams on QMS requirements
• Develop, implement, and enforce quality standards, documentation, reporting, and inspection processes
• Conduct on‑site inspections of subcontractor fabrication, performing testing, non‑conformance review, and validation of critical measurements
• Support Engineering and Project Management to define Inspection & Test Plans and resolve design or fabrication challenges
• Manage supplier quality, conduct supplier audits, and support new supplier onboarding
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through effective CAPA processes

The Successful Applicant

For the Quality Assurance Specialist we are seeking:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years' experience in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or Project Management within industrial fabrication, metals, or related manufacturing sectors
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and hands‑on experience with fabrication quality, welding processes, and inspection standards
• Ability to interpret drawings, technical documents, and customer specifications
• Experience with Non‑Destructive Examination techniques (MT, PT, RT, UT)
• Strong communicator with the ability to manage through influence and effectively interface with customers
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently while traveling to fabrication sites
• A curiosity‑driven, collaborative mindset that values teamwork and continuous improvement
