You will split your time between manual testing of site functionality and building and maintaining automated tests to streamline QA coverage and regression protection.You will work closely with engineering, product, design, and eCommerce teams to test new features, identify edge cases, and validate that changes perform well across devices, browsers, and customer flows.ResponsibilitiesOwn and execute end-to-end manual testing of new features, content updates, and integrations across the websiteDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts at the front-end and API levelCreate detailed test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on product specs and user storiesPerform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure responsive behavior and mobile UX consistencyValidate accessibility compliance against WCAG 2.2 AA standardsProactively identify, document, and track bugs and edge cases through to resolutionCollaborate with developers to understand how features are built and how best to test themMaintain testing coverage for high-impact customer journeys including homepage, PDP, cart, checkout, and post-purchase flowsOwn and improve regression test processes for every release cycleContribute to QA documentation, reporting, and test environment managementHelp evaluate and implement new QA tools and platforms to improve speed and reliabilityQualifications & Requirements3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing within an eCommerce or digital product environmentHands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or SeleniumStrong understanding of manual testing methodologies, test case design, and bug trackingExperience using AI tools (such as Claude Code, Codex, or Copilot) to accelerate test development, exploratory testing, and QA workflowsExperience writing and executing API tests using tools such as Postman or BrunoProficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as TypeScript, Python, or JavaFamiliarity with Git and collaborative version control workflowsExperience with cross-browser and cross-device testing tools such as BrowserStackExperience with eCommerce platforms — Shopify experience is a strong plusStrong attention to detail with the ability to think critically about edge cases and user flowsExperience with automated accessibility testing tools such as axe, WAVE, or Pa11y, especially integrating them within testing frameworksExcellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and design teamsExperience with bug tracking and project management tools such as ClickUp, Jira, or similarPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflowsExperience testing headless or composable eCommerce architecturesFamiliarity with screen readers such as NVDA, VoiceOver, or JAWSFamiliarity with load testing tools such as JMeter or k6Experience with mobile app testing on iOS and AndroidBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experienceWhy Join Comfrt?Be part of a purpose-driven company that’s shaping the future of comfort and mental wellness.Work in a supportive, creative environment where your ideas and growth are valued.Enjoy Comfrt benefits such as generous paid time off, company-covered health insurance, 5% 401k match, and discounts on all Comfrt products! Join a passionate team making an impact on exciting projects, all while enjoying the flexibility and collaborative support of a fully remote environment. Comfrt is an equal opportunity employer. The salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as years of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
