Devereux has an exciting opportunity to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner!** This is an Independent Contractor position ** Devereux Florida provides programs and services for individuals with significant intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or emotional or behavioral challenges. This position is responsible for:Completing psychiatric evaluationsWorking in collaboration with physician to provide diagnostic and intervention patient careMonitoring and reevaluations as neededMedication managementParticipation in physician peer review and relevant meetingsAs an Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at Devereux, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. Education and Licensure:Master's Degree requiredCertified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of Florida requiredActive Medicaid provider number and authorized to provide psychiatric services by Chapter 464, F.S. requiredOther Requirements:Two years' Psychiatric experience requiredTwo years' experience working with children and adolescents requiredTwo years' experience working with children and adolescents preferred
