Payroll Specialist - Remote Opportunity
About the position
The Payroll Specialist Level I is responsible for processing payroll and related data on a weekly and biweekly basis. This role involves close collaboration with Human Resources to ensure accurate payroll analysis and processing, including handling various payroll-related tasks and assisting employees with payroll inquiries.
Responsibilities
⢠Process payroll and related data on a weekly and biweekly basis.

⢠Check payroll information for accuracy.

⢠Coordinate with HR regarding changes in payroll such as terminations and new hires.

⢠Process financial compensations or deductions including bonuses and severance pay.

⢠Assist employees with general payroll questions and educate them on company-specific payroll policies.

⢠Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
⢠Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
,
⢠Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with UKG payroll systems.
,
⢠Familiarity with payroll processes and relevant legislation such as Sarbanes-Oxley Act or FLSA.
,
⢠Working knowledge of Ultipro/UKG payroll and WFM timekeeping system.
,
⢠Analytical mind with good math skills.
,
⢠Strong communication skills.
,
⢠Excellent attention to detail.
,
⢠Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
,
⢠Healthcare experience preferred.
,
⢠Associate's Degree.
